No. Confirm you are 18 or older and you can start chatting straight away. You can optionally save your account with an email or Google later, so you keep your name and friends on a new phone.

Yes. Strangers only see your random name, face avatar and, if you choose, your state and city. We never show your email, phone number or exact location, and chats with strangers are not saved.

Add a few interests (like cricket, anime or music) and your location. We first look for someone nearby who shares an interest, then widen the search after a few seconds so you are never left waiting long.

Yes. If you both tap Add friend during a chat, you become friends and can keep chatting later, including voice notes and GIFs. Friend chats are saved until one of you removes the other.

Tap the menu to report or block them. Reports go to our moderators with the last few messages, and blocked people are never matched with you again. You can still report someone for a few minutes after they leave.

Yes, chatting is free. An optional Premium plan (₹149 for 30 days, one-time payment, no auto-renew) adds extras like choosing to match with girls or boys, sending photos and custom names. Premium needs a saved account.

Yes. StrangerYaar works in any modern browser on Android, iPhone and computers. You can add it to your home screen to use it like an app.
